What is processed

When you convert a link, the server processes the URL, start, destination, intermediate stops, travel mode, and route preferences. Those locations are sent to the Google Maps Routes API to calculate route geometry. Google processes that request under the Google Privacy Policy.

Temporary storage

The calculated route and GPX download are kept in server memory for about 15 minutes, then expire automatically. They are not written to a database. Submitted URLs and place names are deliberately excluded from application logs.

Operational data

The service uses an IP address briefly for abuse prevention and rate limiting. Infrastructure providers may retain standard security and access logs. No advertising trackers, analytics cookies, user accounts, or route-history cookies are used.

Your device

The GPX file is generated only when requested and downloaded to your device. What happens after import is controlled by the GPS or route app you choose.
